I received my first camera as a gift on my 7th birthday and I was hooked.  In the years since, I've worked to learn as much as I can about the art of photography.  Getting the image to look on screen as it does in my imagination is challenging.   My brain knows how I want the photograph to look, but the challenge lies in the timing, the positioning, the lighting, and a thousand other variables.  However, the people I photograph will only experience that precise moment once in their lifetime and  I may only visit the places I photograph once in mine.  Capturing those moments is absolutely important .
